This museum was originally a furniture factory established in 1958. As the external economic environment changed the factory was transformed into a “museum” with an educational function, passing on old Chinese and Japanese furniture making skills. The museum has various traditional and modern furniture on display. If you want to try your hand at being a master carpenter, the museum’s experience area offers you a chance.
Main Building: The exhibition room is divided into the collection display hall, the modern Eastern hall, the furniture culture hall, the plant ecology hall, the talent nurturing area, and the carpentry experience area. The Taiwan Creative Furniture Exhibition Centre and a “craftsman’s home” can also be visited.
